Cletus Avoka’s son dies in military training initiation exercise
Maxwell Avoka, a 23-year-old son of the former Majority Leader, Cletus Avoka has been reported dead.
Maxwell reportedly died Thursday after going through an initiation exercise in the Ghana military popularly known as ‘donning’.
According to family sources, Maxwell was bleeding from his nose after he was identified at the 37 Military Hospital.
‘Donning’ is a popular ritual done by military officers to usher in new recruits. Another recruit who reportedly underwent the donning exercise is also on admission at the 37 Military Hospital receiving training.
Cletus Avoka, according to information gathered is currently away in Malaysia on an official assignment and on his way back.
